CNC Lathe Gildemeister CTX600 - C axis "jump"

    Hello All ,

    machine: Gildemeister CTX600.
    With 2 axis(x,z) work - we don't have a problem.
But if we wont to use a milling and C axis :
the movement on C axis is not a smoot- it looks like "jump"

    Has anyone solved this problem?

Are you sure this is full C axis or an indexer ?

If a full axis, you should be able to select 3rd axis (C) and move the spindle in jog, handwheel and incremental modes. You could try referencing the spindle G28 G0 C0.

If a full C axis, you could have a spindle encoder, coupling or cable issues.

The machine is with C-axis :
Double check the connectors and cables - everting looks ok
Even to create a code with movement 0.01
When i change the movement from : X/Y to XK/YK everting start to move smoothly.
But I`m not shore for this - it is a right way.
