Not mine but it showed up while I was searching cl . At 1500 bux a guy is never going to find a better deal on a running or not torus . I'm tempted to send someone down to pick it up but it's likely not going to happen .
Anyhow it's a good deal for someone in there area if it isn't gone already

That is awfully tempting. It would be a very nice upgrade from my Torus (NM-145 with Pulsar electronics).

I’m a lot less squeamish now about tearing into these things and working on them than I was back in 2014.

It's a crazy deal . I'm in Canada just above there and I was tempted to call a friend who takes his cube truck down there all the time . It looks to have had a whole lot less use than mine does

. I'm surprised the ad is still up , the iron is worth the asking price , everything to get it running is cheap in the big scheme of things . If it is running then someone is going to be laughing when they pick it up , and if it's a servo setup then they'll be hysterical

The project was building prototypes for a new program that ended up being pretty visible. The program still exists. I cut the first runs of initial aluminum parts on my Torus Pro and later when we built the program by the initial 4 member team operating entirely out of my shop, I bought the Torus Pro you see, as well as a Pulsar, for our operations lab. Everything was one off, small run so the Tormach's were perfect for that. Low cost, cheap to fix etc. Later we bought a few Haas machines as production requirements dictated a much larger work envelope.

No clue why the cabinet looks crooked. It wasn't when we were using the machine. I've looked at the 2nd picture that shows it from the side, and the back cabinet (what you can see of it) seems to look fine. You would think that if the cabinet is tilted that bad, it would have had to have gotten banged pretty hard on the side of the back that is showing. So, I'm wondering if there is something behind the cabinet thats making it look this way through the clear enclosure. By the way, this enclosure was the give away. We built that entire enclosure in house out of 3/8" acrylic. This was before John was offering enclosures for sale.
