    BMC-20 w/Max II drip feed......

In my machine BMC-20 with Ultimax II, wich we just started to use, we are able to comunicate g coded programs from the PC and to the PC with no problem as far as they are smaller than 1000 lines or so due to the memory size. The question is: Is this control capable to drip feed a program?? I can not find anything in the manuals.

    Thank you all...

The machine is already set up to drip feed, it just does it you do not have to set anything in the control just set up your dnc software to do it and it will do it. If you can up load and down load you should be ready to go. When you donwload a large program to the control it will down load and stop when the buffer is full as soon as you start running code the machine control will delete the code that was just run and down load the next code

As per your comments, it stops when the buffer is full; it shows 9% memory. Then we press "AUTO", then "RUN PROG" softkey, and "START" button. It runs the program but it stops on line 1524, this means that it doesn't load the rest of theprogram. Our cable confirguration is:

    ROUND CONNECTOR DB-25 IN PC
    A---------------------1
    B---------------------2
    C---------------------3
    D---------------------4
    E---------------------5
    F---------------------7
    G NOT USED
    H NOT USED

    Could it be the cable???

    Thak you for your help.

I think it is your cable
I will check on the cable tonight, as I do not have the info at hand as I am at work and the info is at home.
As far as I can remember only three pins are used and a couple are jumpered.

Here is the cable info, your cable looks ok be sure to set the PC dnc software to "software handshaking"

Hurco round connector 25 pin serial

pin B recieve data ----------pin 2 transmit data
    pin C transmit data----------pin 3 recieve data
    pin F signal ground----------pin 7 signal ground

Hurco round connector 9 pin serial

pin B recieve data ----------pin 3 transmit data
    pin C transmit data----------pin 2 recieve data
