How to set software limit in VK45II

    Hi!
    I have HITACHI-SEIKI VK45II, SEICOS III, build in 1995. Serial number 47146
When I move axis in Manual mode near limit switches and during some not accurate moving touch HARD LIMIT SWITCHES.
    Machine stoped.
How can I set software switched to avoid concern limit switched? I rote manual but did not find how to do this procedure.
    Regards,

What is the CNC controller brand of your HITACHI-SEIKI VK45II, SEICOS III?
If it is Fanuc, you can set parameter No.1320 and No.1321
If it is Mitsubishi, you can set parameter No. 2013 and No.2014.

I have SEICOSIII. Spindle is Mitsubishi driver. According axis drivers I do not know.
I send you photo of my electrical cabinet and screen snapshot with 2013 abd 2014 parameters.
Parameters 1320 and 1320 I could not find in PARAMETER section.

I have same machine with same problems and it was the limit switches were sticking, they were all gummed up with old oil/coolant and when they were triggered the didnt return to off position. i removed some of them and used a damp cloth with hot water to clean them and then some wd40 to get them worki g again. To free the z axis you need to remove the panel on right side and remove the limit switch, then you can clear the alarm and move it to the top, clean the switch and get it moving freely before putting it back together.
If you rrmove the lid of the z switch you will see where oil/coolant gets trapped in the cover, i modified it somehow by fileing a small v grove in the lid to let it drain. There is also a water serperater filter doda in the breather hole of the switch which needs to be cleaned too, you should see it bubbling when you work the switches in and out
