    G83/G87 parameters

Hi all I have a question about the parameters more for the G87 pertaining to how far the drill will stop short in the peck drill cycle , off the top of my head parameter #5114 is for the G83 peck cycle to stop short of the last drill depth in the cycle and I have it set at 1000 which is actually .100 is there a parameter to set so the G87 cycle will stop short that distance , right now it stops short .200 and I would like to tighten it up by .100 , this is a Doosan SLY machine with a Fanuc 18i controller. We use the G87 cycle for drilling holes on the O.D. of the part with live tooling . I have a hunch that the parameter used for the G83 cycle is shared with the G87 maybe ? Any help I would thank you all .

you have to remember that the X axis on the lathe is diametrical not radial so the machine actually doubles the value in parameter #5114 for all X axis work i had the same problem when i first started using the live tooling. i usually program an R value which the machine reads as incremental.
If you can ENVISION it I can make it
