    Stand alone rotary table indexer.

Hi, in case it's of interest to anyone here, I've posted a design for a PIC based rotary table indexer here:-
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47007

Hopefully it'll be of use to someone...

    Regards
    Steve

    It is not Steve's design.
The Controller is professionally designed for this type of application, and can accommodate other stepper motor Tables/Indexers and Arrangements within 24V and 3 amps. The DB9 plugs are also wired the same as the Gecko G540. Also... it's on special for $648.00 with free Shipping to Canada and USA.

Best to ask me questions there. Kwackers makes an awesome unit but if you want to roll your own, these days, the Arduino is a great platform. You can do basic indexing in as little as 150 lines of code or you can add some more professional features in 1000 lines like I have done.

The info for the Stand Alone Controller and Indexer was provided for those who "can't" or don't want to make their own.

    Thanks anyway

In that case, Kwackers controller sets the standard so look no further than this thread.

$648.00 was CAD. It's listed for $489.00 on eBay.

Re: Stand alone rotary table indexer.

This might be a little late, but there is a brand new stand alone rotary indexer that is servo driven. It claims 'infinite positionability' unlike the fixed rotary tables:
