    Lubricant for ways

What type of lubricant should I use in the lube cups on my Rong Fu mill?

Certainly not an expert- just got my mill, but I don't see why Mobil Vactra wouldn't be a good choice. I just bought a gallon from Enco for 12 bucks. Should last me a long time.

I posted this question before I had received my mill, I see that they recommend a 68 weight oil. I was thinking about Vactra myself. I think I can get some at Grainger.

You probably already know this, but 68 weight is an ISO standard- it is equivalent to SAE (automotive) 20 weight.

I did not know that. I think for know I am going to use SAE 20 for the ways and I will get some Vactra when I place my next order from Enco.
