We have two Hurco VMX 30's the reason we bought these was because the reveiws for hurco and recomendations were excellent. We bought one about 6 months earlier than the other and was very pleased with the machine.
These machines are high speed through coolant with cermic bearings. We took this option because all we cut is ally. These machines are designed for fast metal removal and we use them within the specifications of the machines and well in with the tooling we use.
Recently we have had major spindle issues to the point we have had to have 3 replacements also spindle drive belts have snapped 2 replacements and this week a spindle servo has totalled its self.
We have been told by many people within our circles that hurcos are the business etc.
I'm starting to have my doubts the question is.....has anybody any negative feedback about hurco in anyway shape or form???

We have just received a VMX30 with the high speed spindle option. Hurco is still here setting it up should be up and running in a day or so. Do you have any advice on how to advoid the problems you have had with yours? I would appreciate any advice you have. Thanks
