    4 Axis Feedrate Calculation

I am using a GE Fanuc - 4 axis in a laser system (X,Y,Z,A). I have a matercam generated post that has extremely high feedrates on some tight corners. It is moving around the corner using the Y,Z, and A axis.

Is there any way that I can calculate what the feedrate should be. I trust the mastercam but I have to make some changes at times and would like to know how to calculate the feedrate manually.

    Thanks in advance.

I have no experience with anything over 3 axis. I hear though that inverse time feed is better in these situations.. where you tell it how long you want it to cut the line segment instead of how fast along the line you want to cut.

    (if that made sense..)

(a bit over my head here)
