    IGES nightmare

    Good afternoon to all,

We are currently trying to work with a IGES file. We are familiar with DXF, DWG, Tiff, Jpeg, BMP and many others. We can't figure out how to get dimensions off of the IGES file. HELP!!!!

Iges is a solid model file, it can be opened in pro E, solidworks, etc. If you posted it here someone could surely open for you.

    Hi Mike,

Download Rhino 3d v4 and you can open the file, save it to what ever you want, then export it out to your system. Rhino is limited to 20-25 saves so be careful how you use it or you will need to buy it!
