are you using it? I think I would prefer c++, but your link had some links that were useful, where I saw this c++ library http://www.cgal.org/ also.
Well I will admit I use Java for work, and am spoiled with its libraries. Also trying to find the time to learn python. I was just saying that pascal is not all that mainstream anymore, I think.
Java is the latest flavor of the month. Software evolves into a new craze every few years. Four years from now you (and I ) will be using something else that replaces Java as the next end-all software.

FASTGeo has been enhanced and rewritten in C++ by the original author, Arash Partow. It is call Wycobi now and it can be found at:
