Hi I just talked to Solidworks last week. $4000 for basic $6000 Professional and $8000 For Premiun. I have a dealer coming to show me a demo of slidworks plus solidcam. I'll see if I like it, I watched alot of the video clips and it's very impressive
Rossrods,
If you don't mind me asking, what is it that Rhino won't do for you?
Cheers,
Rob
I just bought it (standard version) +training (3 guys) +maintenance and it worked out to be US$7600
I'm in SE Asia, so it sounds like it might be a bit cheaper if you get it in the US.
Regarding the SolidCAM, I had a demo of it while I was in Australia and it comes across very good and user friendly.
We ended up with mMsterCAM as we have 2 guys (one for models, and one for NC)
Don't forget the 1500 to 2000 yearly maintenance fee. Depends on version.
