    constant velocity help

my machine has been up and running for about 4 months now... looong paid for itself already!!!!

anyhow, im still not happy with my constant velocity setting when routing 3-d shapes... when it has to do a very quick transition im not happy with the results...

is there a way to alter when the machine starts accelerating in the next direction??? or do i have it looking to many steps ahead???? this is all new to me, the CV stuff anyhow...

using mach2, stepper motors, geckos, soundlogic board.

Try the very latest Mach3 and turn off all the CV options. There was a recent bug fix in the CV.

Your machine's acceleration dictates when it starts accelerating in the next direction. The faster your machine can accelerate, the longer it will wait to change direction.
