Spindle speed varies from the command to the actual

    Dear All,
I have a Haas VF1 1992 model with Magnetek DS 307 drive. I have done the setting of the same, but when I give the command of S200 the spindle runs actual at 50rpm and when I give the command of S2000 the spindle runs actual at 500rpm. Even it shows alarm as Spindle Orientation Fault. Please help me if anyone could suggest and solve this problem. Thanks

    diemech,
Is the problem you have spindle speed variation?
If so, is your problem as extreme as JoBwan's?
What kind of drive do you have in the Haas?

I just purchased a 92 haas vf1 with out any manuals. Looking for a manual for the machine if you have one you would like to copy and sell? I contacted Haas and they only go back to 99 with manuals. Thanks
