    Quick Little question

Can I save 2 versions of MasterCam v9 on the same system with one seat? I would like to keep the Metric and Imperial versions seperate. So IF I want to use the "Metric MasterCam" I would open that one, or if I wanted the Imperial, I would open that one. PLUS I could keep the drawings in each to help lower what I would need to look at. Thanks, John

Yes you can bring the part up, go to screen configure switch the config to metric save the config setting. it will ask if you would like to scale the part pick yes . do a file sav as metric.mc9. still in mastercam go back to screen config pick the config. file for imperial and save the config file. again it will ask to scale. save part as imperial.mc9.

As Steve said, you dont need to have 2 versions of Mastercam on your system. Just convert the "units" and save them as separate files. Less Hard Drive space wasted. You can still have 2 sets of "default setting" for Each environment (inch, mm).

Cool, thanks. I thought it was like that but just wanted that "second" thoughts on this matter. John:rainfro:
