    Siemens Micromaster 440.

    Hi
I am attempting to build a 1.5m x 1.5m, 3 axcis gantry style woodworking router. I have been offered a a Siemens Micromaster 440 variable frequencty drive
    The serial number is 6SE6440-2AB23-OCA1.
    The input is 200-240 volts.
    The motor output is 3.0Kw.
Can anyone tell me if i would be able to use this?
    TIA
    Aaron

Only if you have or intend on finding a 220v 3hp max 3phase spindle to use the drive on.

You might try to find documentation. At least you would know what would be involved in setting it up.

It could also be used for a CNC or basic 3ph mill or lathe spindle motor control, if it allows external controls.

Then again, it could be trading stock for other things you could use if the price were right.
