    Ubuntu & Linux EMC

Currently have a Sherline CNC Mill w/PC. Would like to know if it is possible & how to go about installing Ubuntu 2.2.2 EMC on one HDD & Linux BDI & EMC 4.51 on the other HDD and have the choice of either on Boot up? Have installation CD's for both.

This would give me the opportunity of having both available to compliment each other. This probably would be a simple matter for an individual that knows his way around Linux. But this senior cz has not been able to come up with the winning installation configuration.

My last attempt came up with an error 13 - invalid or unsupported executable format while trying to boot Ubuntu???

Prior to that a display of "booting ubuntu emc 2.2 rootnoverity - Hd0,0 chainloader +1

Your assistance would be appreciated or just tell me where to go?? Thank you!

    Pete
