    New to Joe model 2006

Is there an easy way to print out templates from the EASM files for the model 2006? I have access to a plotter to print the long pieces. Being new to this I'm trying to get all the correct dimensions so I can build it right the first time. How is everyone else getting the dimensions out of the files provided?

There are DXF files floating around for this but you would need to go in and dimension them as well.

Someone was talking about creating a set of dimensioned drawings but I have not seen them publically availible.

Sounds like you are attempting to cut this by hand. Someone is doing this as well and you may want to contact them. Check the build log as I remember it in that forum.

Right now I am looking to cut these by hand as I do not have a friend with a CNC machine. I've asked for a price on a kit from Joe. I'd prefer to borrow someone's CNC and get some pointers by helping but I don't know anyone local that will mentor me. I've posted up on the mentor forum though and we will see.

I will poke around some more to find anyone doing this by hand as well. A set of measured drawings would be awesome for those of us without a CNC to start with.

I have his DWG files. I downloaded eDrawings viewer and can see them in there. I'd love to print them full size. Is that possible? Is is accurate? As stated above I can print on a wide format printer (plotter) for the long peices. That is unless someone near SE Virginia wants to cut some peices for me.
