Considering used laser: is this a good deal?

    I found this ad recently:
Universal Laser Systems 50 watt CO2 laser cutter with all options. Includes rotary attachment, honey comb "Plexiglas cutting" bed, air assist, assorted lenses.
In great shape and clean. Cost over $32K in 2002.
Does this look like a good deal? What should I be asking the seller about this machine, other than the run time on the laser and the exact model number?

Also, is the price right? It appears that it's only selling for 38% less than the original price.

Ask how many hours are on the laser tube. They have a limited life. When I checked a few years ago Universal was quoting about 6000 hours on the tube, and a cost of over $6000(>25% the machine cost) to replace it.
