I get about 109 parts but not too sure about a couple.
I get about 109 parts but not too sure about a couple.
My guess is 115.
Lee
My guess 112.
Thanks
I would say 99
Gotta go with 109. Great product!!!
Brent
If it's already been done, then it ain't NO FUN!
I say 113. And after trying to count them in such a small space I have a new respect for you for soldering them all.
Kenith
I've got 139, dang thats a lot of parts.
Thanks for the chance.
Matt
I just edited mine because I accidentally hit the 4 instead of the 3. In to big of a hurry to be the first to post my answer. Hope this didn't disqualify me since no one posted another guess in the 3 minutes that it took me to notice and edit.
There were no guesses when I first started counting and already 6 guesses by the time I finished counting. Curious to see how many more by the time I type this.
By the way, Marcus, if no one gets the correct answer will the closest ones win?
My guess is 114 parts.
Alan
The closest answer will win, regardless if it is the exact number or not. Because it was not explicitly stated in the rules, there is no editing of answers. Any and all edited answers will be disqualified aside from wolfdagons because the rule was not posted by then. I will edit the original rules post to reflect this change.

By reading the past few pages and checking Digikey's catalog, I figure there are 112 parts, and since the rules state a tie wins, that's my entry.
Bob Hayes
I guess 138 but I'm haggling over whether to include the header pin in that since it's not a component as in actvie/passive but a connector, 139 is taken so I'll stick with 138!
103
that is my final answer
Im going with 92
so do we win the "cheap drives" or the "super cheap" drives?
My answer is 106
98 would be my count (guess)
This is for the cheap drive, with the mini 12-pin connector and little heatsink plate. The super cheap drive just wouldn't be motivation enough to even begin to count, now would it? ;-)

roger that!
