How do I drip feed a program into a VMC

My school has a mori seki v45 with fanuc 6m control and were trying to run a surface contour program but it won't fit into the computer. My instructor knows we have to drip feed it but doesn't know how to do it on the v45. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks -Mark

I do not know about a Fanuc but on a Heidenhain you go to the cycle run page find "Blockwise Transfer" enter the name or number of the tape and hit enter. It will start loading the program into memory and then you hit cycle start.

My point being look for something like that on your run screen.

I'll see if that helps but I think he said he knows how to do it just not on the v45.

    Thanks -Mark
