    Chuck mounting options

I am planning to add another lathe to supplement my Unimat PC. I have been looking at a number of the small units - particularly the 8 X 14 - size is right and price is OK - but -

All of these small Chinese lathes appear to use bolt-on chuck mounting. I find with my Unimat, that I am routinely switching among 2 3-jaw chucks, a 4-jaw and a collet holder, all of which are simple screw-on mountings. The idea of going through a fiddly bolt-on procedure each time is not appealing.

Does anyone make a bolt-on adapter for these lathes that will, in turn, allow mounting a standard screw-back chuck?

    Thanks

    Pretorien

I've been watching the 7x lathes and accessories for several years now (and using one for a couple) and have never seen such a beast.
I'll bet if you had the lathe it wouldn't take too much effort to make one that would be as accurate as the lathe allows.
