    Fanuc programming

    Can someone tell me how you change between nunbers and letters on the Fanuc TO keypad. Cannot search programmes which all start with letter O which is on key with 7.Thanks.

    Press the shift key then the letter.

    Is there soft keys on the crt? if there is, look for forward search

    Hi There. Thanks for response. There are soft keys but have not seen forward search. Will look again.

    Try typing in the program number then the down arrow key, you may or may not need to be in edit mode.

    Hi have made some progress since last post. However I can enter a program into the Fanuc to controller on the Colchester using a new programme number and in edit mode with programme protect off only to find when I put programme protect on and switch off machine the programme is not saved or is partly there but corrupt. A row of noughts appears aftera line number. What am i doing wrong?
