Heloo guys
I have mazak H400 with mazatrol M32 and got a check sum error.When i put floppy disk in the machine drive unit a have now FLD error.I think the drive is old and not functioning because on floppy disk make a big scratches.First how can i read and make copy of the disks and how to change the floppy drive.

You must order the floppy disk from Mazak or Mitsubishi. They are in a special format that a PC will not recognize. If you order a new disk I would order a new drive as well. The last thing you want to do is get a new disk and have your old drive damage it while trying to read it.

Is there some way to make standard floppy drive to read mazak floppy,because i found a disk from other same machine,but don't want to put it in my floppy drive.
I read somewhere that i can change the mode in floppy drive to read other disks.
What mode is mazak drive and what type is that drive 700kb,1.2Mb,1.44Mb.

I know there is a way to back the parameters to a blank disk inserted into the floppy drive on the control. Unfortunately I believe you need a software disk and I do not know of a way to copy or make one on your own.
