Question Manual Pulse Generator for K2CNC

Anyone here familar with or know anything about CNC4PC's Manual Pulse Generator seen here:

    http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/prod...roducts_id=158

It's supposed to work with MACH3 through a 2nd LPT port. I know I need an MPG bad because moving the machine around with the keyboard or mouse just doesn't cut it anymore (TOO SLOW!)

You could get a Shuttle Pro on Ebay for about $75. Lot's of people using them with Mach3.

Thanks for the info Gerry. I appreciate the tip very much. But being used to the full sized, 100 click per rev dials on the big machines I think this is the best alternative. I definately like a dial better than arrow keys. I just wish I knew if the thing really works. The company is in the UK but after talking to them on the phone today I guess I am going to go for it. I will report back here and let you guys know the results.

I'm a few months too late, Mike, but I think the sort of thing you're looking for is available from Romaxx who make mini CNC routers. http://www.romaxxcnc.com/products.htm#mpginstalled

    Manual pulse generator problem

    Dear sir,

    How r u?

I got your email id from one website. I have one problem in my machine regarding that i need ur help.

Machine Name: Multi spindle drilling machine
    Fanuc Control : 6M
    Maker of machine: Sakazaki
    Model of Machine: SM-NC94
Manual Pulse generator Part Number: A860-0201-T001

Machine all functions are working properly. But its manual pulse generator is not working in handle mode.

I checked the manual pulse generator, its OK and working properly at other machine.

I think, there is any parameter in FANUC control 6M which enable or disable manual pulse generator?

I have manual of machine but its in japanese version. Manual number is B-52265/01 please give me if u have.

In old control you have any idea of parameters? or there is any other solution for that cause.

Can you help me in that matter?

My email is is [email protected].

    Thanks

Hope you will give me positive response.
