    Printing to Plotter???

Ok mastercam GURU's, here's a trick i can't figure out. I bought an older HP draftmaster, pre HP=GL, plotter. Supposedly, cad/cam said i can print straight to it in scale, but does anyone out there know how??? I'm running MCX2, and i'd like to find a way to make my twenty dollar pen plotter print take-off dims to send to customers.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

    John Olafson

Pre HPGL? You will need a special driver that will communicate between MCAMX and your plotter. Call CNC Software. But if you bought a new 8.5 X 11 or 11 X 17 Inkjet printer it will plot to the printer and the lines will be to scale on the paper just like a plotter.

Don't use MasterCAM, but as was mentioned, you'll either need a MasterCAM plotter driver, or at least a Windows XP driver (if that's what you're using)
