(chair)Im trying to find out why when I save back a program to a laptop I get an extra line that does not have code on it. I dont have any problems with the other machines so the DNC software Im using must be set up just fine. does someone know if its a setting that Im not able to find or get to ? Its a O-M fanuc control. program looks something like this.

    G0X0.0Y0.0

    Z0.0

    G1X0.0Y0.0F15.0

    G0Z2.0

most likely is an additional line feed (LF) generated by the control, there may be a setting in the data in/out section of the manual to help. also, the laptop could be generating the additional LF, check the RS232 settings.

Check parameter #0070 bit #7 (ICR). It's probably a 0, which punches LF + CR + CR. Change it to a 1, which should only punch a LF.
