I have been using my matsuura w/yasnac mx1 for some time & just now decided to try to connect to it with my laptop.

I can download any progs from my controller and upload those prog back to controller with no problems, but if I change anything in the program (even by one character) I get a parity error.

I've tried a couple of different dnc editors, checked and rechecked all parameters I can think of, checked for misc. characters with hex editor and nothing seems to make any difference.

Its like the keyboard on computer is using a diffrent character type than the controller is expecting.

Has anyone seem this before???

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

More than likely it's not changing the character that causes the problem, it's saving the file. Have you tried Notepad?

I tried notepad also tried not saving & just going straight from dnc editor

still nothing.

Any other Ideas?
