Hi everyone

I bought a FET3 board and motors off stepperworld last year - I've finally(!) finished a simple machine and I'm having a minor problem.

I'm using a Pentium 11 233mhz with dos and Win98 freshly installed - No other software installed.

If I run the yeager demo from the provided floppy, the machine runs.

If I try running a program from within 98, I cannot get all 3 axis to run - Normally one axis will be dead. (The exception here is KellyCAM). The dead axis can be changed, by changing the 'SET to "1" the NON USED OUTPUTS' checkbox available in most setup dialogs.

If I restart the machine into dos, TurboCNC will work, but ONLY after running Yeager off the floppy FIRST...! Otherwise I get 1 dead axis.

Starting the machine into 98 results in the X and Y axis being loose with the Z axis locked and heating up....

It appears to be dos or windows messing with the ports, but why....?

Any thoughts??

Regards
