    Using the touch-off probe in a Johnford Lathe 650A.

    Hello,
    I want to use the touch-off probe in a Johnford Lathe 650A; but I have not figure out how to activate it (I don't have the manual). Somebody can help me with this?

    not sure if this will work but we have a bt-40 lathe and heres how we do it. select your tool needed to touch off, go to the offset screen, next(I think its the + screen key) then press the OPR screen key there should be a list of options here that allow you to turn on the post. and should auto matically take you to the geometry screen for tool lengthnote that you only need to turn it on after lowering post. handwheel tool close to stylus then go to jog mode and use axis direction buttons to feed into stylus when tool is touched off light should turn red
