You can shut down the control, then restart with the "P" and the "can" keys held in until it reboots. This over rides the travel limits and permits you to move. Best to turn control back off and restart normally to reset the limits.

    Thanks for your suggestion,
by the way press P and Can during reboot not effect in memory NC..?
I just worry, if press P+Can+ NC on..it will be erased memory NC

It won't affect anything, just overrides the limits

If you have a presetter for tool offsets, the contact may be stuck or shorted, check the one for the axis and direction not working.

go to the setting you need to set a zero again on parameter and make a new zero return....

this is a common problem caused by a stuck or non-functional deceleration switch somewhere. you need to check all Z axis switches at BOTH ends of the stroke limits.

    Machine is incremental encoder

Limit switch was check all normal

now Z and X axis can't move backward

Re: Fanuc O-T control axis can't move backward

    Hello,

Did you fix it ? I’m having the same problem on a fanuc otc. I can’t turn the x axis in + direction. Just in - direction.

I’ve tried everything and the tech guy replaced the axis card on the controller and nothing . Any help is appreciated

    Hello,

Just wondering if you got this fixed....I have the same issue sometimes on the Z axis. I usually wait half an hour to an hour and it starts to move again....annoying.

    Thanks
