Wow the VF3 Drain holes for coolant get clogged up!

on a 1998 vf3 , the coolant holes leading to the pump, are always getting blocked by chips. What a poor design. I am thinking about making a diverter to keep the holes open by keeping chips flowing away from them.

someone came up with the Haas chipanator it a simple device that uses the chip auger. You'll have to look through some of the old threads on this site to find it

Hailin Haas, thanks for the name. I found a video on youtube of it actually working: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-Rnym4lYzU"]YouTube - chipinator[/ame]
I am currently working on a fix that will cost $35.00 max. I wonder what kind of market there would be for an inexpensive fix.
