    what capacitor to use

    Guys

I have my arcsin driver board, transformer & rectifier, what size cap do i need, the board needs 48vdc.

My mate ed recommends a 63v 20000uf capacitor which im finding hard to find. Can i use 3 63v 5700uf in series to give me 15000uf, can they work that way. Your help would be great.

Wire the capacitors in parallel, not series.

Parallel wiring gives 17100 uF @ 63 Volts

Wiring them in series would produce a 189 Volt, 1900 uF cap.
