    Mechatronics Bi-Polar 4axis micro driver

Hello, I dont know if it is possible to do this or not but so far I have nad no luck. I have a Mechatronics 4 axis controller board which works great on my desktop PC with a LPT port, I purchased one of those USB to LPT cables figuring I could use this with my laptop, but well I am lost. and I am wondering if this will even work. so far it does not. can anyone help me? I dont care if i need to switch software or any of that, i just want it to work.

    Thanks
    Joe
