    Mazak M2 batteries.

Anyone got an alternative supplier/part number for the Saft GB150H-3F batteries used on the M2 boards. They are 150 mah and look like three button cells side by side with fixing lugs at the ends.

Go to the Interstate battery web site, they have the same batteries for $11.00 as to the $86.00 you will spend at the OEM, BUT I HAVE TO WARN YOU, if you are putting these batteries in a component that is under warranty, the warranty will be VOID.

    Thanks,

    Mark,

Took me a while to go back through my notes but the NEW part number for the M2 batteries looks like D50MA001020. Not sure on your machine as I think you have an updated M2 control, but my machine required 2 of these. 1 holds the memory for parameters and 1 holds programs (EIA/Mazatrol).

    Hope this helps,
    Nate

Interstate can do these batteries on a thirty day delivery but do not ship outwith North America.Armed with Mitsubishi`s part number I called up Mits Automation UK.Got passed to Mits Germany.Refuse to supply them, told me I have to buy them from Mazak. When asked why,was told "because that is the rules".
    Most infuriating.

Felectric- I have a T32B control and it has one located in the bottom left hand side of the NC unit. There will be a thin steel cover mounted vertically labeled MC063, remove the cover and the battery is mounted to the card.

If you need a replacement battery, any battery shop can build you one from the specs off the old battery for about 10 bucks. Just check the battery height to insure it will fit in the slot once mounted on the card.

My local Interstate battery shop built a replacement from 3- 1.2V 200m/amp Ni-HM stock batteries while I had lunch.
