    Sourcing Parts

I need a good source for connectors. I need to connect my BOB to the control box via plug-in's on a panel face. What is a good connector for this app and where do I find them. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Speedre,
Mouser.com has about any configuration imaginable, except probably the one you need.

I looked on the key sites, Mouser, Digikey and such, but it's all tooooo much. I just need to know which connector types are most commonly used by cnc'ers.

maybe a better description of what you want would help, as you say, there are way too many choices to narrow it down. Would DB connectors be a possibility? A lot of folks use them to connector motors and encoders to a panel of a control box.

Well, my motors have a 4 conductor Molex connector that has screws for tightening the wires in, and the female is chassis mounted. Now, some of the solid conductor wire is showing at the terminus of the male, and, I'd like to add a cable chain and may need to add length. I also have added two wires to each axis Geko to the BOB which I'd like to change to shielded cable and a good sturdy connector also panel mounted. So, I'd like to make my connections all plug into a panel, X Y Z axis and X Y Z to the BOB, and its enable switch and Estop. All neatly arranged on a common panel in a enclosure.
