    RPM beyond 3200?

    I have an 2HP motor, it runs at 3200 very nicely. Using mist coolant. What options are available to go faster?

    3hp motor and VFD. the 3hp will let you take a bigger chunk of material out and the vfd will allow you to overspeed the motor. do these mods at your own risk as they are not supported by IH as far as i know. the other option is a belt drive for the head, but thats a whole lot of work.
