    Blown Syil spindel controller

    Hello
I have a blown Syil Xp5 spindel controller. I want now to replace the controller with a servo controller and a new motor with higher torque.
In order to have the same functionality (rpm, spindel start, stop, cc, cl) I have to interface the existing signal. I do not understand all of the function
    of the syil board.

Conector on blown board: 15V | 5V | NC|NC|DIR|PWM|GND in some manual (www.hipoo.cn) on the net I found for some simlar
    card: 15V|5V|TAP|S/P| F/R|PWM|GND

TAP: external electric low level, the tapping function is available. When motor runinng at 500rpm/m, high power or open, tapping function invalid.
    I do not understand that!

S/P: Start/Stop in the shutdown state to a negative pulse start, turned down in a negative pulse stopped, a negative pulse every time a status change.
    I don't understand. What happens?

F/R: is clear should be 0.6V or 0V.

PWM: Have to convert that to 0-10V (What's best?)

    could anybody help?

    Re: Blown Syil spindel controller

    Hi,
most AC servos and drives hav a velocity mode. It allows you to apply an analogue -10v-+10V signal
and the servo motor will run at a given speed.

You would have to make a simple circuit to implement the +10-10 signal, +10 is FWD and -10 is REV.
