    Cool Trunnion Tables

Hi every one .. I need to know if HASS VM-3 can work as 5-axis with the use of Trunnion Tables (TR1605XB , TR2105XB , TR3105XB )

or the previous Trunnion Tables can only work on the
    5-Axis - Trunnion (i.e Vf-2TR , VF-5/50TR etc ,,, )
    Need you help

A VM-3 is just a VF-3 with different slots on the table and slower pitch ballscrews. The trunnion machines are just VF models that come factory equipped with the trunnion installed.

So yes: if you have a VM-3, all you need is to get the 5-axis option (two more amplifiers and some cabling) and the two-axis rotary or trunion table of your choice.

Brush vs. brushless for rotary tables

    Hi,

If I understand correctly, you need to be sure you match the components (axis drives) to the tables as far as brush vs. brushless drive, probably not a challenge if you're buying new, but might be something to watch out for if you're looking at previously owned, which I guess you might be, as I've heard that the backlog for some of the rotary stuff from Haas is on the order of 6-8, or even 12-16 weeks for some models?
