    HITACHI SEIKI 25S/FANUC 10T PROBLEMS

    WE HAVE A HITACHI SEIKI HITECH TURN 25S WITH FANUC 10T CONTROL AND WE CANNOT GET THE MACHINE TO MOVE IN ANY AXIS IN THE NEG DIRECTION WHILE IN MANUAL MODE.THE LATHE WILL ZERO RETURN AND WILL MOVE IN A NEG DIRECTION WITH A G0 COMMAND WE HAVE NO ALARMS!I THINK THAT A PARAMETER MAY BE SET WRONG BUT I'M NOT SURE WHICH ONE.ANY IDEAS?

    Have you checked the jog feedrate switch position????? Or maybe this switch is bad.

    Sorry, your jog feedrate switch must be ok if it moves to the positive direction. If the problem is in the parameters you must check the stroke limit param. These parameters are no. 5220 to 5225.

    Thanks, we found our problem, it was a faulty tool presetter not allowing us to move in a negative direction.
