    First one I've ever made- s only small, but I've found a 100mm thick ally cube which I've got my beady eye on next

    Update: I decided to apply a tint to the cube (like what you get on sunglasses). I was going to go for blue or green, but decided on a light grey colour... makes it look more serious

    Argh,.. attachements messed up.. prolly me and the chemicals lol... hang on

    Incidentally, the dimensions I used are as follows (I got them off a chap on this site, so thank you v much! they worked perfectly).

    Bore= 85% of cube 1 size.
    Depth= 15% of cube 1 size.
    Cube 2 = Cube 1-(Depth x 2).

    How'd you do the tint, or did you just buy tined material?

    First cube

    The teachers bet me I couldn't do it. It was the first cnc program I wrote.
    Final dimensions are 2.5", out of aluminum. I'm going to try smaller with as many boxes and also different shapes.
