Question Looking for a 3D model of a Bridgeport & Hardinge Lathe

    Hello All-
I am in the process of designing a shop in 3D (Solidworks 2007) to house all of my machinery. I've looked to find a 3D model of a Bridgeport to approximate my V2XT, and also a Hardinge lathe that I'm working on, but I've had no luck. Even a really rough model would do, I just want to plan the space efficently.

    Thanks in advance-

    3D Machine Models

    Hi

You might want to try Varicut (CGtech) they use very detailed 3D models for their simulation, normally in STL format
Other CAM companies such as Open Mind have similar

Hello; Are you a Solid Works User? I could model both for you very easily but I have Solid Works 2008 and 2007 will not open my part files.

If anyone else needs CAD design models feel free to email me at [email protected]

I took a look at thier website, and I'm sure they won't offer up a free model.

Thanks for the offer, but I was just figuring I'd ask before I spent the time to model it. No point doing the same work if someone else has already done.
