Hi-
I have a friend who bought a mini lathe from Harbor Freight- he used it a bit, but had trouble with the speed control/power supply. I think he got a new one and it failed again. Anyway, he was going to toss the thing and asked if I wanted it. I have a Shoptask machine, but I think this has some advantages in small work. Is there a good replacement for the original power feed/speed control stuff? I think the motor is 180 volt DC.

second-hand store and snag the DC motor and variable speed controller.
