    Arrow GE FANUC SERIES 15M

    FRIENDS,

    TRYING TO SWITCH ON A OLD M/C WITH FANUC 15M MODEL MAKINO MC-86.
    AS SWITCH ON THE M/C FOLLOWING STEPS SHOWED ON SCREEN,

    RAM TEST : PASS
    ROM TEST : PASS
    SLOT (0222) END
    SLOT 02 (011D) : --------------blank
    AND SYSTEM DOES NOT BOOT FURTER.

    ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE.

    Rajesh,

    Might be worth checking the internet for some pics of your motherboard to check if all the boards are in place first...

    Can you get to a parameter screen..?
    If you have lost the parameters then this may cause your system not to boot..

    I think the 15M has a battery backed sram board for storing parameters and diagnostics but i'm not very familiar with 15M.

    This sight is very good for info on most controls.
