    Fanuc 6 tool offsets.

    Hi.

Does anybody know which parameters to change to get more tool offsets and work offsets in Fanuc 6MB2. I have 30 tool offsets and 6 work offsets at the moment.

I'm using a Bridgeport horizontal with pallet changer and the extra offsets would be really handy as i'm having to constantly change offsets on the control for different jobs!!

Also is the Macro B option a parameter change or does this require extra software to be loaded?

    Many thanks
    John

    John,

Those are all Fanuc OPTIONS, and the owner of this site has instructed that they are not to be posted on his site. I suggest you contact Fanuc directly.

I am not sure if the 6M has the option available for MacroB?

    Al,
Actually I have two machines with 6MB 11 on them and both have macro B.
My 3rd 6M machine has not got it but i've found out today from Fanuc that it can be switched on with a parameter change .

Apparently I'm told some 6m machines need extra eproms installing as part of the upgrade and some came with them as standard so I suppose on these old machines it was down to the builder at the time of manufacture!

    Cheers, John.

My 6M has Macro B. I a looking for documentation on how to use it. My Smid book talks about "O" and later controls.
