    VF-2 SS Ballscrews

Is anyone out there seeing problems with the "Z" axis ballscrews. I have seen on the Haas website that they have come out with a new video for replacing them. I put 2 screws in the one machine within 6 weeks and now I have another machine that is getting very loud. Just wondering if this is a pattern or if a recall in order for this problem? Oh wow!! Did I say Haas recall? Hee Heee Heeee. I have 5 of these machines and hope that something can be done for the noisy screws. On the one machine it was due to a bad detent valve in the oiler system. Not sure yet on the second machine. Again, any input is appreciated!!
    Thanks,

    axis,
My machines are 2005 and 2006 models. As far as the video, my Haas technician is who told me about the video, and showed just a bit of it to me. I am not sure if you need to have a Haas registration to access it? It's kind of difficult to get technical info from my Haas guy. Maybe, they don't want to give out any secrets or tricks of the trade?? They do make a lot of money for service calls. I otoh, try to keep from paying for all that travel expense. I guess you and I may be in the same boat.
