Does anyone here have any experience with:

1) Upgrading a Crusader II or Crusader M control to the new(er) Anilam 3000M? According to Anilam, It will retrofit by changing the console, plugging in some connections, and changing out the X and Y scales.

We've got (4) machines still running Crusader II's and it's becoming a nightmare keeping the controls operational. While I might enjoy playing with a DIY project on my own time, I can't afford to experiment with something like Camsoft...

The Anilam conversion is $7500.00 list - any integrators out there who could do better on the price with a different solution? (must be suitable for production work right out of the blocks!)

2) Using the 3000M control - pro's / con's, like / dislike etc.

Thanks,

JB
