Question How to control the starting point of a pocket

I'm running a test cut on a rectangle 2"x3"inches with .25" radius but can't seam to make the tool start in the center of the line, versus starting at the radius. How do you change were the tool starts?

My control will fault or error if I start the cut on a radius.

V22 will start at the end of the line selected. For a profile Break the line in the middle and reselect the contour so that the arrow is not in the corner. If its a pocket select "center out". (I think)

Thank-you I will give it a try. Currently I have version 21 and V22 but only use the V21 since I'm still learning it.

Also, with V22, If you place a point in the pocket, the start point option will be avalible for selection. ( If memory serves me correctly - I'm not in the shop to double check.)

    Correct.

Just sketch of plot a point and then select it as the start point.

Hit the right but when you click the "start point" icon and then click the select/reselect tab. select the point you wan then right click on the screen to click "ok"
