Being outside the square !!!
Thanks to all those who have added their videos to the group.
If you run EMC and have some video footage of your machine we would love to see it.
You need to upload it to youtube, join the emc youtube group, and then you can connect your video to the collection.

Stuart is actually making a part for a plane
Good one Dan, thanks for posting it.
I think we need to make a rule for all videos, that that part cut, should be shown out of the vice upon completion.

Is it possible to post a youtube link that takes you to the EMC group? It is impossible to find otherwise....
I was looking for a youtube link to the youtube group EMC, that is mentioned in the top posting so I could join and post some EMC CNC videos...
Found it....
How about a regular URL:
www.linuxcnc.org
There is a link in the youtube group page to the EMC home page. Is that what you mean? Or do you mean a link on the EMC home page to the youtube EMC group? The latter, I would love to do, but I have no juristriction in this area, though I have tried to help out in this area in the past. Unfortunately one of the board members has blocked me at every turn in becoming more activly involved.

I just put this video together the other day that goes into great detail about my electronics and controller setup. The video shows LinuxCNC controlling the machine and goes into some detail about E-Stop setup and spindle encoder for speed feedback.
LinuxCNC 2.5.1, Mesa 7i43 card, dual-core Atom single-board computer, Linux running from Compact Flash card.

Last plasma cutter i've built, all of them make parts like this all day every day. All have THC and all, including styro cutters, routers, my mills, all use LinuxCNC.
