    SL-30 programing ?

    can you run the tall stock in 2 different positions in the same program?
    ive never ran a programmable tall stock before
    also im pretty sure M25 is advance what would be the M code for the retract ?

    M21 is advance, M 22 is retract. Parameters can be set/changed as needed.
    What ever your stop point is, set it 1" beyond, to maintain proper pressure onn the part.

    You can command the tailstock to move to a certain point, ex. B-13.432, in MDI or in a program. I've never tried running a program like that though. I have always used M21/M22 so I'm not sure what the outcome would be.

    well i just want to do it for show we had to kick and scream to get a new lathe so i though id write a program just to make it look cool im sure ill loose concentricity but hay who cares if it works as long as it looks COOL rite
